Relabel Sample Numbers command (Tools menu and Toolbar) Relabel sample numbers toolbar icon

Select this command to display the Relabel Sample Numbers dialog box. This dialog box allows you to renumber the sample numbers within a borehole.

Relabel Sample Numbers dialog box

The relabelling can operate over either an entire borehole, or over a selection of units within a borehole. Prior to selecting the command you should select the borehole and units that you want the command to operate on.

This command is only available if a borehole that contains units with sample numbers is currently selected. Note that some schemas may not contain a sample number field and therefore boreholes with that schema can never have sample numbers.
