About hatches

MEGS_Log uses hatches to draw the interior of elements within a borehole. There are three types of hatches:

Vector hatches, drawn using a series of lines, circles and other shapes in a way that is independent of the resolution of the display.
Bitmap hatches, essentially small pictures which may appear pixellated depending on the resolution of the display.
Inbuilt hatches, hard coded within the MEGS_Log application.

Previous versions of MEGS_Log only supported Bitmap and Inbuilt hatches.

Hatches are specified and arranged into sets (called hatch lists) within the config file. The current hatch list can be set using the Project tab in the Options dialog box.
