Use the Hatch List Editor dialog box to edit the lists
of rock types and the hatch that is associated with each rock type.
Unless your administrator has enabled
Client mode, you can display
this dialog box by clicking the Hatch List Editor
button on the Settings tab of the Options
dialog box. If Client mode has been enabled then this dialog box is
not available.
Hatch list: Choose the hatch list to
edit.
Add: Create a new hatch list. You will
be prompted with the New Hatch List dialog box for the name to use to identify
the hatch list. This name must be unique amongst the list of hatch lists.
Within the New Hatch List dialog box, you
can use the Copy settings from checkbox
and drop down list to select an existing hatch list to copy across to the
new hatch list.
Delete: Delete the selected hatch list.
If the selected hatch list is the hatch list that is currently in use
then all units will be drawn showing "No record".
Rename: Rename the selected hatch list.
The new name must be unique amongst the list of hatch lists. If the
selected hatch list is the hatch list that is currently is use, it
will continue to be in use.
Rock types: Shows the rock types
and the vector or bitmaps associated with each rock type. Rock types
shown in red have not been given a valid vector, bitmap or inbuilt
hatch name.
Add: Add a new rock type to the
selected hatch list.
Delete: Delete the selected rock type
from the selected hatch list.
Rename: Rename the selected rock
type.
Hatch pattern: Shows the type of hatch
pattern for the selected rock type. Click one of the following
alternatives to set a new type of hatch pattern.
Isovector: A vector hatch, with
the width and height of the vector hatch drawn to the same
scale. You can use the Vector Editor
dialog box to edit the list of vectors.
Anivector: A vector hatch, with the
height of the vector drawn as specified by the hatch and the width drawn
at a different scale so that it occupies the full width of the bore
field.
Inbuilt: A hatch defined internal to
MEGS_Log, that cannot be edited by the user.
Element name: The name of the
bitmap, vector or inbuilt hatch.
Changes made to the hatch lists are saved to the users MEGS_Log
configuration file when you click the Ok
button.
