Options dialog box (Settings tab)
Use this tab of the Options dialog box to change settings relating to MEGS_Log in general.
The appearance of this tab changes depending on whether MEGS_Log is operating in Client mode or not.
In Client mode:
Not in Client mode
Settings available are:
- Create backups of borehole files: If checked then a backup copy of a borehole file is made with extension .backup before any changes to the file are made. Note though, that this backup file will itself be overwritten the very next time you save the borehole.
- Remember MEGS_Log settings between sessions: If checked then MEGS_Log settings are written to the registry when MEGS_Log is closed.
- Edit configuration file: Edits the MEGS_Log configuration file in the users application data directory. If the configuration file is not in that directory then the configuration file from the same directory as the MEGS_Log executable is first copied across. The configuration file is opened in the application associated with text files.
