Options dialog box (Prolog settings tab)

Use this tab of the Options dialog box to change settings relating to the opening and saving of borehole files in Prolog format. This tab on its own may also be shown when opening or saving a specific Prolog file.

Settings available are:

Select schema to use: defines the type and order of the fields present in the Prolog file. See About Schemas for more information on how schemas affect the reading and writing of Prolog files.
Always ask for import and export settings: if ticked the user will be asked for the settings above every time a prolog file is loaded or saved. Otherwise the schema setting above is used by default. (This setting is only available when this tab is being shown as part of the Options dialog box.)

When this tab is being shown as part of opening or saving a specific Prolog file the dialog may also contain a message with more information about the number of fields in the borehole in memory or on disk, and the number of fields in the currently selected schema. You can use the information in this message to help you choose the best settings to open or save the file.
